This short animated cartoon is only two-minutes and thirty-eight seconds long, but it has been under development for a little over a year. Animator Arin Hanson (egoraptor) has been working on this project in-between the events of his every day life, appearing at conventions, and co-hosting the humorous Game Grumps series.
This cartoon is a follow-up to the original PokéAwesome which was posted online in late 2011, and has been viewed over sixteen million times. What is clear in viewing both of these side-by-side is that egoraptor has improved his craft for animation, and continues to enjoy the process of creating new works. Unfortunately, due to its delayed release and the high-expectations set by its predecessor, some people are disappointed with the end product.
Thankfully it isn’t just a re-hash of the first cartoon, instead it gives viewers something they didn’t expect. If you want to check it out for yourself, the video is embedded after the break.
